FAQs

Q

How does PROCOVERY’s business model differ from those of traditional recovery audit firms?

We are a full-stack solutions consulting firm with one clear-cut mission: to prevent the errors that cause year-over-year recovery audit claims. We are the first, and only, firm in the retail industry specialized exclusively with prevention in mind.

As true solutions consultants, our implementation model provides the full disclosure and dispersion of our accumulated knowledge and expertise across your organization, especially within your in-house team.

Although we envision working closely with you for some time, we do not seek to remain as a permanent fixture within your procure-to-pay process, nor does our business model require it. Permanent solutions do not require permanent engagement.

Your total long-term savings and the speed with which it is delivered is our benchmark for success.

Our timeline? The faster the better!

Q

How does our in-house audit team factor into your solution?

We work closely with in-house audit teams and we've designed our solution with them in mind.

Our “1-2 punch” approach is designed to:
prevent the errors that cause outside recovery audit claims, and contain your exposure to future outside recovery audit claims. We do this by increasing your in-house team’s capability to identify and firewall these issues before they get out of the building.

Q

How will our relationship(s) change with current outside recovery audit firm(s)?

Our solution is designed to operate independent of your existing outside recovery audit process and we can begin at any point in time.

Outside recovery auditors will continue to operate as they always have, auditing previous year’s transactions, while we address specific error patterns with our approach on transactions in progress, in real-time.

With each successive audit cycle, we will prevent and contain more issues in-house while affording outside audit groups more time to focus on finding new audit areas and claim types.
